Boasting over a half-mile of riverfront and a 21-acre pond, this location will provide ample opportunity to hone your skills, targeting a variety of species on both still and moving water. The mystery behind every hook set will keep you engaged as this stretch of river can produce, big rainbows and browns alongside the occasional cutthroat and brook trout. The pond boast pike, smallmouth bass, and sunfish. The pike and smallmouth bass have the potential to be a fish of a lifetime. There are no guarantees in the sport of fishing but there has been confirmed 40"+ pike and 5+lbs smallmouth from the landowner. There is a boat put in on the lake on the Yampa property, please note this is to put your boat in by hand. No backing up to the waterfront. Anglers will access the property with no real issues. The banks are moderate but can be steep in certain areas on the Yampa. The lake has easy access all around it. Although we typically get your booking approved within a few hours, please allow up to 1 business day for booking confirmations. Due to livestock and other concerns, dogs and other pets are NOT permitted on this property. Camping prices are per day. Camping is dispersed camping. please practice “leave no trace” principles and pack out all trash. You will need to supply your own water. There are two camping areas on this property both are very flat and and can fit all camping vehicles. It's also very easy to maneuver and turn around on these campsites. The town of Craig does spray for mosquitos and due to that there is very little in the area. Campsite #1: Near the upstream boundary. Campers will have shade most of the day and the ground is fairly flat. Campsite #2: Will be established once the snow melts.
